The Contrology Pilates™ Introductory Course has been designed to satisfy the prerequisite requirements for the comprehensive trainer education certification program. This two day course is appropriate for those who are interested in becoming a comprehensive Pilates instructor. This course lets you sample Pilates and its rich traditions, allowing you to make a decision on your next steps in completing your Pilates trainer education.

Objectives:
Upon completion of the Contrology Pilates™ Introduction Course you will have been introduced to:

• The history of Joseph H. Pilates.
• The fundamentals of Pilates.
• The Powerhouse and how it relates to Pilates movements.
• Introduction to the Contrology Pilates methodology of teaching.
• The Mat, Reformer and Cadillac Introductory exercises.

Pre-requisites: None. The course is designed to gain knowledge and experience in classical pilates as pre-requisite for the comprehensive Pilates trainer Level 1 education course.
